This term was introduced in the Alps in the 1950s with the emergence of winter tourism, and covers all the popular activities that take place after a day on the slopes.

Whether it's parties, music, dancing, or simply relaxing in front of the chimney sipping a hot chocolate, the one thing about apres-skiing is that there's no start time, and certainly no end time. Apres-skiing is an expression that has become part of our collective imagination, and it is intimately linked to fun and the pleasure of enjoying life in the mountains with friends.
