The history of the productTHE JERSEY OF THE FIRST GAME OF ROMANIA
In June 1919, the Pershing Games began in Paris. These multi-sport "Interallied Games" brought together the victorious nations of the First World War.
Led by its captain Mircea Iconomu, and players who had made their debut in France, such as Henri Manu, who was even captain of the Racing Club, Romania played its first international match in Paris against the United States, then against Philippe Struxiano's France.
No matter the two defeats, Romania enters the world of Ovalie and intends to stay there.
Rugby offered Romania its first international match, ten years before Italy, and even three years before soccer.
A Latin land in Eastern Europe, Romania was introduced to rugby before the First World War thanks to Romanian students returning from France. The sport will continue to develop despite the remoteness and the lack of possible international matches.
After beating France for the first time in 1960, Romania kept knocking on the door of the 5 Nations Tournament until the end of the 80's to obtain a place, a claim at the time justified by results and a reputation worthy of the ambition.
