The history of the productARNAUD MASSY 1907
BORN IN 1877 IN BIARRITZ, ARNAUD MASSY IS STILL CONSIDERED TO BE THE GREATEST FRENCH GOLFER.
In 1906, he won the first French international championship, which he won again in 1907, 1911 and 1925... He notably achieved the feat of winning the British Open, then called the World Championship, in 1907 in Hoylake. Arnaud Massy is the first non-British player to win the title and the only Frenchman to have achieved this feat. He was a young man on a sardine boat before becoming a caddy at the Biarritz golf course. At the age of sixteen, he won a tournament reserved for caddies and received a gold Louis and a gold medal which he confessed to always keeping with him.
