The history of the productFIDJI 1926
THE "FIJIAN FLYING TEAM" IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST NATIONAL SELECTIONS.
This can be considered an achievement due to an estimated population of 850,000 of which 80,000 are licensed. The Fiji team played its first international test match against the Samoan team in 1924. The game was played at seven in the morning so that the Samoans could get on with their day's work after the game. The Fijians, wearing black jerseys and bare feet, won the first match.
It was in 1926 during a tour of the Tonga Island that the Fijians first wore their famous white jersey with a palm tree embroidered on the heart. This first game in white was lost, but the honor was saved since over the 3 games, there was a defeat, a victory and a draw.
