History of the product

STRIPED WITH A RED COLLAR, THIS FOOTBALL SHIRT WAS WORN BY THE FRENCH NATIONAL TEAM FROM 1909 TO 1914.

Its with this football shirt that France won their first match versus Italy, with the help of Eugène Maes among others, “the first grand French scorer” who was extremely good in the air and remains one of the best to this day.

The 17th March 1912, they scored 3 goals and so beat Italy in Turin for the first time! The next victory in Italy wasn't until 82 years later !!! On the chest, we have added this superb CFI cock. Ancestor of the official organisation, the CFI, Comité Français Interfédéral, united the managing football federations in France in 1907. That year, the French team managed the biggest home score by a French team. 5 goals, Eugène Maes (the one and only !) scored the first 5 goals in one match versus Luxembourg!
